Statement of Duties

Primary Function

Under the direction of the person responsible for project management, organizes and directs daily activities of field personnel. Job site project responsibilities include preparing and/or reviewing shop drawings and submittals as well as providing and tracking installation labor estimates and inspection of work.

Internal and external customer satisfaction and realizing the expected profitability

are the ultimate responsibilities.

Specific Duties

1. Ensure that all employees are informed of Company Top Priorities as well as

current business conditions.

2. Maintains a strong focus on the installation processes to ensure continuous improvement in efficiencies, productivity, etc.

3. Maintains a strong focus on safety by insuring effective and continuing employee training.

4. Achieve promised performance goals to the internal and external customers.

5. Responsible for developing the maximum capability of each employee by providing training, coaching and counseling, career development as well as stimulating efficiency and effectiveness through dynamic leadership and personal example.

6. Conduct annual employee Performance Appraisals as well as recommend wage increases when appropriate based upon employee and company performance.

7. Oversee the successful implementation of programs that result in the reduction of costs, improved efficiencies and increase of profits for the company.

8. Maintain personal contact with the customers.

9. Conducts completed project inspection to ensure production standards and quality are met.

10. Communicates information on job completeness, employee’s production and quality.

11. Maintains knowledge of technologies and equipment as it impacts job site performance.

12. Regular and reliable attendance are required for all field personnel.

13. Supports and adheres to company policies and procedures.

14. Leads by example in work ethic, communications and attitude.

15. Work closely with the Sales Estimators in establishing costs and pricing.

16. Perform special assignments as required.

General Qualifications

· Appropriate education and industry experience with an emphasis on business and installation.

· A minimum of five years of supervisory experience in a related industry.

· Mechanical aptitude with an understanding of manufacturing and machinery.

· Proven track record as a team member and effective communicator.

· Must be results oriented with a high level of work intensity and a bias for action.

· Has demonstrated an appreciation for high quality, professionalism, profitability and leadership.

· Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure scheduled deadlines are met.

· Must have high expectations for personal and employee performance.

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

· Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with all contacted in the course of work.

· Ability to plan, organize, schedule, direct and supervise personnel.

· Ability to read and understand industry standard technical documents, drawings and specifications.
