Project

EagleBank – Bethesda Branch

Scope of Work

Interior Storefront, Interior Glass Partitions, Doors, Hardware, Bullet Resistant Teller Window, and Custom Bent Gold Finish Laminated Glass

The Situation

EagleBank is a Washington DC Metro area community bank headquartered in Bethesda, MD with assets over $10 billion. Financial institutions like Eagle Bank located in the DMV region are constantly seeking ways to create the best atmosphere for their clients and customers.

The bank’s general contractor asked LGM to provide a wide range of products for the client to review. Typically, glass subcontractors specialize in only one type of product. EagleBank asked LGM to provide custom storefront, interior and decorative glass, that was bullet resistant. To fulfill the client’s design specifications, LGM technicians needed to be familiar with other subcontractors’ scope to ensure openings would be built properly for a successful installation.

Solution

With construction projects, every trade affects another in some way. LGM is vigilant on every project, committed to staying ahead of issues that can cause delays and waste materials. Actively coordinating and communicating with other trades on the EagleBank project was the only way to ensure a satisfied client and a beautiful result.

Result

LGM’s collaborative work and unmatched expertise resulted in the successful competition of the project. LGM coordinated with the general contractor and all subcontractors providing flooring, millwork, framing, and security systems. Familiarity with other trades and their scope of work is essential to help avoid deadline-breaking problems, quickly resolve any concerns that arise and problem-solve in real time. Going beyond our scope and understanding how other contractors and vendors could impact our work allowed us to finish the project on time and without the loss of costly materials.
